STEM Engagement
Youth STEM PROGRAM
STEM will be used to expand the imagination of students and educate them on appropriate steps in the achievement of their academic goals. Students will be paired with mentors that help facilitate maturation and interpersonal growth. Through student and mentor relationships, emotional barriers are more easily scaled while simultaneously teaching students valuable skills.

STEM Programs will be available for youth, ages 10-18
Benefits
Academic—By teaching students the skills that correspond to stem programming. By exposing students to a field of employment that leans heavily on Reading, critical thinking, and stem skills they will value the current educational opportunity more.
Mental Health—By increasing the student’s self-worth. By teaching the students skills that are actively sought in the workforce.
Career Preparation—By giving students foundational knowledge before they enter the workforce that can guide them to lucrative careers in construction, maintenance, and engendering related Fields.

Mental Health
Group Sessions
Focusing on personal growth and mental wealth. Sessions to empower and inspire personal growth, mental wellness, and emotional stability. Non-clinical personal and group sessions with mental health professionals will be available to serve our participants in times of crisis, anxiety, insecurity, and preparation.
Motivation:
The biggest inhibitor of our health, wealth, and happiness is often ourselves. We should have regular reminders of our potential and our value. It is important that we learn boundaries, principles, and processes to keep us aligned with our creator and in a healthy space.
Rebuilding Communities
A vocational skills-BASED MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
Teaching kids vocational skills in facilities maintenance and construction while mentoring and helping to meet their psychosocial and mental health needs. Who is welcome to participate? Males & females 10-18 years old and all socioeconomic level.
Life/Job skills (scholarships may be awarded)
Building and maintenance skills (weekly classes) ($25 per class)
Financial growth skills ($25 per class)
Healthy lifestyle ($25 per class)
Transitional skills ($25 per class)
(Scholarships are available)
Students will be proficient enough after the program to be successful in a technical vocational education program. Students will be proficient enough to gain entry-level employment using vocational skills learned, students will connect with mentors and learn social, emotional, and behavioral management skills and techniques.

ENGAGING Sharing strategies for overcoming obstacles black boys often face ENCOURAGING Helping black boys determine what they want to do in life and how not to get sidetracked EMPOWERING Teaching young black males to believe in themselves and the fact that they can succeed EDUCATING Providing scholarship aid and other assistance designed to keep black boys morally, socially, and academically on course.
